Is it me or are people making a habit in this topic of repeating themselves?? This is what happens when you try to stick to topic, it turns into a boring monotomy of people struggling to say much more than what they've already written... But in my case, if a game has a 3rd person option, i don't use it, I have in Renegade once, but that's only cos i pressed "F" instead of "R" to reload my gun.. So 1st Person for me it is then... You may continue.... :wink:

On the contrary the Aurora and Raptor's are real planes, although they are not commissioned into full service yet.. The Aurora forget it's military code name, is a plane that is undergoing testing at the moment, fact is that although it is extremely fast they are having problems with the fuel tanks. Reason being is that because the aircraft is so heavy anyway without fuel.... a full tank prevents it even getting 100 Metres off the ground... That problem and when it does get off the ground, it ends up crashing, so the pilots have to bail our.... it's cost the US government billions already. The Raptor I'm sure you must of heard of it's official name is the F-22 Raptor Joint Strike Fighter, that will be in US service hopefully by this time next year, and in world-wide service by 2008. The UK military has bought 20 of these so far. The raptor is an amzing feat of technology, it's fast and can out-manouver any fighter aircraft in the world today. It's turning capability at slow and high speeds makes it twice less likely to be shot down than the F-15 (no F-15's were shot down in service before 2002, only 2 have since) You know the stealth fighter so I aint even gonna bother explaining a F-117a to ya... oh and I've lost count the amount of times that plane has been shot down I know the US military have lost about 6 in wars since 1998.

Yeah good idea.. not! He'd ask for millions of dollars, he & micheal biehn cost more than the rest of the development of Tiberian sun 3-5 times over!!! It was only EA who managed to provide the money needed to employ them for the cutscenes!

Alright Hans, long time no see mate! What else you been up to? Get some cooling in that system of yours, or stop overclocking the damn thing... If it's neither then maybe you have faulty components.. I had that problem, found out it was my secondary slave hard drive overheating. The ball bearings were misaligned and thus causing the disc to spin at half it's RPM despite the fact that it was still trying to spin at it's full rate. The result was that the disc was working overtime trying to run at 7500RPM and heat built up, once it couldn't take it, it overheated. It went on like that for over a year and I couldn't understand it until I bothered opening it up constantly to check for faulty components. Eventually the thing gave up on me, failed, then stopped working altogether.... So many overheats took it's toll on the poor fella :lol: Now I'm one 80GB hard drive down, low on space, and low on cash to get a replacement 80Gig :cry:

Same here I'm like that, but also get games for the PS2, especially Dragonball Z Budokia 1 & 2 of late... love them games.. I hate to say it though, there's one game that kicks C&C: Generals ass and that Rise of nations.... I saw it cheap once, but never been able to find it at the same price since! I love that game, so in depth, very strategic and very enjoyable... makes C&C: Generals look like it was made for kids. Don't get me wrong I love Generals, it's just that it cannot compare to the scope, complexity and enjoyment that Rise of nations brings.

You think that's bad you should see the articles I used to write. Most were pure blocks of writing with no quotes, and they were twice as long as that!!! I believe Crimson Dawn will give the community the boost it so rightly needs. If Wolfy or Bliss want more coverage on it post news in the community forum or better still contact one of the news updating staff or even Sonic and we'll cover it for ya. If Crimson Dawn, plays as well as it looks, and you are hoping to make movies with Joe Kucan (Kane) and Frank Klepaki doing the music score then everybody needs to know... Once you have those 2 helping you out, contact every PC games magazine around the world... and who know's I might be Crimson Dawn's number 1 supporter and act as a CNCNZ.com and UK advertiser! I dunno if you've made a banner for the ads that come up on our site, if not make one, contact Sonic or GP hosting and they'll do their best to get it up.... Guys, if you pull this off, and get Joe and Frank... hell I'll pay money for it!! :wink:

well if you can't get Tiberian Twilight out of EA, then here's the next best thing... Will this retail or will it be a free download.... I'm already looking forward to this

I think we should rally behind petroglyph... not against EA though! I would prefer if we just get over what EA has done and show the ex-westwood guys who were fired that we support them all the way to making an RTS we can be proud of. And I'm sure if they do get a game off the ground then I wonder if Sonic would be prepared to do a Petroglyph web-site hosted by CNCNZ.com where we can follow their games, and maybe eventually turn it into a site about the main game they develop.... Because the site would be only C&C related to the staff and not the game, the site may not be allowed. That as well as the fact that if it does come to rival C&C or any EA RTS game for that matter.... But if EA does disband C&C and kill the franchise, I can see CNCNZ.com possibly being converted into a petroglyph supporting site... or if EA kill the C&C name but keep the game, it could be converted to following that.... Or if both Petroglyph and EA release similar RTS games based on the C&C mould "IF" the C&C name is killed off.... would CNCNZ.com be split down the middle or force an allegence to one of gaming developers.... who knows??? The future is uncertain and it kills me to think of that... but CNCNZ.com will have to evolve in some way or another if the C&C franchise is killed off.... Question is how would we go about it????

It's all very well talking about petroglyph.... but will they have the financial power to make a game at all? I was having a conversation with one of the RenAlert Team a while back and he said, that they are not doing too well... They still need to find staff, and they have no idea on which direction to take.. But I'd give them time... they'll come around. Once the 1st game is Gold and they reap the profits of their 1st highly successful game they'll be churning them out I'm sure. They have every right to attempt to crush the C&C saga or at least batter and bruise it. Not that i don't like C&C, but the Petroglyph Team should show EA how much potential and talnt they've lost. So I do hope when the next C&C comes out Petroglyph release a better RTS I truly do... not to spite the C&C fans or the series, but to kick EA up the ass when these bad asses say. "HEY BOYS WE'RE BACK!!!"

WOL has been experiencing problems, i couldn't play renegade for the best part of 24 hours, as for the EA servers I give up with those... they go down quite a bit for me, but i'd expect it'd be up & running again by now..

Posted at CNC Den They are definately hiding, something.... a demand to remove something and trying to make us forget it's so-called existance doesn't sound right to me... And when was Petroglyph mentioned in any news reports concerning this picture... we all know EA have the righta to C&C??? They must be making it.... after all why would a picture that's only taken a few days ago be a year old and on a Monitor, if i was and it's Westwood concept art... wouldn't it have the Westwood logo??? .... I aint dropping this! EA are hiding something and I'm sticking to this like glue... i might grill EA in someway about it.... too many questions unanswered for my liking!

I doubt Petroglyph would try to go head on with C&C, because those guys wish in their heart of hearts they were doing this project, afterall they made it what it is today... but i think they'll try and develop something fresh... I can at least guarentee that. They would not need to have the publisher give the go ahead, EA will create and publish the game, so it's all in house... Finally someone on this planet can also decypher what I see... Told you so :wink:

I've heard that many or at least few of the old Westwood employees who did not join petroglyph were hired by EA to complete this project for the C&C fans....Also that these employees are the vital programmers and staff who worked on both C&C: TD and Tiberian Sun.... I'm not sure if it's true or not, but aparently after a few more slots were filled by people who have a passion for C&C and RTS games... So there's a possibility that there is a dedicated team, that is purely aiming to provide the best C&C experience possible.... It's an old wives tale, so don't go along with it, but it's what I've heard I imagine with a multi-million corporation working on such a game, that they won't skimp on detail to avoid disappointment... i imagine our favourite movies will be back.... Joe Kucan had already signed an agreement saying he'll fill the part of Kane for one final time if Tiberian Twilight was ever to be made.... he will also be temporarily employed as movies director.... I think EA have been watching these fan site's closely to see what ingredients will make Tiberian Twilight perfect for the fans.... if we want movies I'd imagine they'd give us movies.... because it would defeat the point of making C&C: 3 if they didn't.... Afterall they gave it a small yet decent test run with Zero hour.... although the acting may be done with real life actors, I can't say the cutscenes will be.... that's one thing we will have to wait for...

As i posted on the news page...(and I'm using this with full seriousness on the subject) I took a look at this image for a long half hour, coming back to it on numerous occassions before making my assumptions. And my personal assumptions I'm 110% sure about... The only thing i cannot make confirmations about is the strange robotic shaped figure on the far centre left of the picture.. if that's what it is?? It could either be a large mechanical robot, which suggests to me it's Cabal.... or it's something as simple as light given off by more UFO's burning through the earth's atmosphere... Now in the past I have been extremely accurate with my assumptions on upcoming C&C releases, although i get no credit for being right.... But that doesn't matter, I'm attached to this story and even if I have to grill EA about it... I will get my news... This is Tiberian Twilight we are seeing here, and as assumptions go, this is the one I am most sure ever! It's coming, it's leaked and the Sequal to C&C: Tiberian Sun is on it's way!

OK if it is and everybody is sure it's definately from EA.... THEN TIBERIAN TWILIGHT IS COMING!!!! That's definately a scrin baring down on their leader, Kane... I have no doubt about that... Kane is alive and well and is back with his army of Scrin to finally invade the earth and inhabit it!!! It's coming people..... to Red Alert 3, EA has brought deliverence that the oriiginal C&C Saga will be complete!!!! OK I've calmed down, and that's a premature assumption.... BUT C&C TIBERIAN TWILIGHT WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO..... I KNOW IT..... OH I'M SOOOOOO HAPPY :wink:

It is in development and the Beta has already been released... who hasn't heard of RenAlert by now??? The multiplayer is already coming along a treat, and the single player is slowly getting there... Once the game reaches 1.0 then the single player will be ready.. but not quite yet... at least another 6 months i'd say.
