Your opinion, but i grew up with it and have been watching it since the late 80's........ it may not be the best anime, but many hardcore fans would be flaming you if they saw you say that... This hardcore fan however will let you off... this time at least... But don't say it again or I'll get Goku on ya, and you don't wanna mess with him, he's the strongest in the world you know, and you won't like him when he's pissed

I imagine they all went back to boot camp after the world cup finals.... training harder and longer then ever! Because a defeat in the rugby world to the countries down under is like losing a relative... it's absolutely devistating. I watched a program on the New Zealand rugby team and they said that if the team loses, it's worse than a death in the family.... and those in New Zealand that get right behind the all blacks actually mourn heavily over a defeat.... Now that is sheer passion and patriotism in my book...

Japanese anime will always be the best in my book. Afterall it's not all one style, genre, theme etc. The sheer amount of talent for drawing and the storytellingis immense, and cannot be beaten by anyone in the animation world! I think 90% of Japan's film industry consists of anime cartoons! And believe me, Japan's film industry is extremely huge. You wouldn't think it to be..... but it is.

I've gotten lazy in the past few months... heaven knows why!? I suppose that I feel older than anyone then, say 36  Or maybe I'm just saying that at the moment cos I've not long sobered up from having a few too many stiff drinks

I usually use winamp, but since installing version 5 and it went up the creak ny version of winamp I install just crashes... so i don't bother at the moment. I can't stand windows media player! I changed all the file associations apart from movies away from that program... My music player is Sonique (sponsored by the Lycos network) which you can find at: http://www.sonique.com It's a bulky large player but they are releasing a 2.0 version which is still in Beta stages... but it's supposed to refelct and clone winamp in some way... so once that goes prime I'm gonna use that..... then try winamp again in the future...

sad people, there's always some idiot who likes to flood a site with something!! I don't know wha kick they get out of it, and i don't understand it.... but at least it wasn't a total flood of pointless users.... removing them wouldn't be fun.... I suppose thinking about it while 've been typing this ... that the only kick people get out of doing things like this is that it causes annoyance to the forums administrators like you sonic..... In some ways these people are worse than virus programmers

Must be a fake, even if it's a pretty good one at that... something of such importance and size wouldn't be leaked like that... Even if i have a sixth sense C&C: Tiberian Twilight is in development

Nah the mrs aint no ball and chain, not to me anyways.... she might think it's the other way around  Love's a funny thing, buti'm happy and it don't matter what anyone else thinks... As for your age Sonic, I wasn't sucking up to ya, even if u did take 25 as a compliment.... I just remember you being 23 at some point... I now remember that was when I joined the site as a member of staff

OK here's an interesting one, i dug into my MP3 collection and found a little gem..... so here's what I'm asking..... What would favourably be your piece of music to sum up and creat the atmosphere of the end of a war and it's aftermath. A song or tune to refelct on the death and destruction, and the sheer pain and suffering that war causes... I'll take the best and my own personal choice which is Barber's "Adadgio for strings" For those who are not into classical music (i aint but i love this classical piece)... you can also hear this music in the short, final scene and into the final credits in the classic film "Platoon" where Charlie Sheen is taken away in the helicopter.... So how about you guys? Have I summed up the perfect song for the aftermath of a battle or war? Or do you have better suggestions???

I would like to put up some files
Saracen replied to General Leang's topic in Site / Forum News & Discussion
I always knew you'd be up for some careless immoral glory in collecting files for CNC World... but i suppose you gotta fight for your site so I'll let you off this time  -
Former Westwood employee auctioning off RA2 stuff...
Saracen replied to a topic in C&C Community News
suprisingly i rarely go to CNCDEN, not that i try to avoid it, i just forget it's there... i've kinda stayed loyal to CNCNZ.com all my C&C life  -
OK I'm looking at this from a lesser technical side and saying that if everything appears OK, and everything is updated and running fine as possibly can be then it might be one of the following, follow this check list... * How much space do you have on your Hard Disk? Try freeing up some space if your short * Is your hard disk defragmented? * Run a virus check! Viruses can slow systems down significantly even if they don't appear to at first * Check for errors! If your PC hasn't been shut down properly allow XP to run an error check, there could be corrupt files causing the PC to slow * Search for spyware and other needless rubbish on the system! Programs you don't need can still take up memory as processes, even if they don't appear as applications There may be a few more checks that you might wish to do like running windows update as well as making sure video card drivers (and all drivers for that matter) are up to date.. as well as checking that all Hardware is not conflicting and is working properly using your hardware profiler!! Failing that there it may be the simplest thing in the book, your graphics settings.... No doubt because you appear to have a powerful card may not mean that you can have all the settings cranked up, try turning them down in the Generals options settings as well as the resolution the game plays in to something a bit easier for the card to handle... Hope that helps, if not then come back, and either I or one of our acommplished technical staff or anyone on the community might be able to be of more assitance to you..

you aint yet you mean, i never boozed or smoked... now i do  And no I aint turning this into another "Drunken Stupor" forum topic so please don't go there.... once was enough, twice was a disaster! May the lord have mercy on us if this is to be a third

Is there anything simple that doesn't keep you happy?? Thank god you aint president of the united states or to be in the future!! The cold war would have been rather hot with your button pushing... god bless the man who invented the 2 man rule

I suggest you try ebay or Amazon and search for C&C gold on there... I must admit that XP has well and truly killed DOS and it is a shame for those of us who have some classic DOS games.... But we have to move on with technology.... fans of Doom and Quake have accepted XP killing of the orginals and as much as it hurts me to say this us C&C fans will have to accept the death of the DOS C&C on our XP machines  But all will not be lost.... I imagine that sometime in the future C&C: TD will be released as freeware and will be compatible with all machines as it will be in a windows compatible mode... Take the original Grand Theft Auto as an example (yes it is freeware!!!!) But saying that EA may remake the original C&C with a modern day 3D engine, ok it won't be the same but it'll be great to see an old classic get a great revamp

Former Westwood employee auctioning off RA2 stuff...
Saracen replied to a topic in C&C Community News
I'm impressed by some of the stuff! I tell ya some of that would change hands for larger sums of money if more hardcore C&C fans knew about it... $US 66, is an extremely good price for those items. If i had the money it would of been higher, because if i knew about it, i would have fought for those items really hard, probably pushing it into the $100 mark  -
ahhh those days when all you thought of was girls, girls, girls! Your hormones going wild, and you discover that drink is the answer to all your problems. You also hate your parents, go out until next morning cos you don't care, sit in your room alot, and raid the fridge at 3am because you haven't eaten all day! Your parents hate you because you no longer respect them, or your neighbours because your heavy metal music is blaring out and they don't know who metallica are.. You smoke behind bike sheds at school, you don't do homework or attend school altogether, you fancy the french teacher, cos she's young sexy and french, and get in trouble just to spend more time with her! You bring your girlfriend home at night without your parents knowledge, then keep them up all night with the noise coming from your room cos you and your girlfriend have discovered what mum and dad were up to when you walked in on them at the tender age of 7!! Yep being a teenager, you are the most annoying, spoilt brat on earth who doesn't listen to anyone but your mates. You milk your parents of their money and get through more than your fair share of top of the range designer label clothes and shoes every month.... you are the menace to society, nothing's fair and you can't understand why the world doesn't always revolve round you.... University students are just as worse!!! OK this aint aimed towards anyone, but it covers the psychology of many teenagers here in the UK, barr the minority who are actually mature enough to avoid all that

Crikey how man GCSE's or A-levels do you need for that one  That is actually what alot of jobs entail these days, just doing one monotomous thing over and over again for very little pay.... What gets my goat is that some people who do that type of job doing nothing get mega-bucks!! That really annoys me, and these are the people who have no qualifications to their name! It's us people who have the qualifications and work hard graft and long hours that get no rewards for our efforts... unless you actually have a degree with honours, you aren't gonna get a decent job you enjoy for loads of money with the satisfactory workload that makes you feel like you've done a hard days work..... if that makes sense to people???

England have always been the same.... crap under pressure, there's no way England will ever win anything if we can't keep our game together when it matters most.... We've always done it though, whenever we do well, and it looks like we are going to win, England F**K it up big time!!! Sundays game against france is a perfect example. But if you look through the history of all the England games since 1966 in an important competition you'll see what i mean..
-
Ok this is a european football competition which is like the world cup, but for the european international teams.... It's underway tomorrow and it looks to be Englands best chance of winning some much needed silverware.... we need it 1966 was the last time  But we will be hard pressed as our first game is Previous world and european champions France, and they have the best footballer in the world today Zinedene Zidane as well as a few excellent french favourites who play for our domestic league teams, then if we do qualify after the group stages, we are likely to face Germany, and Holland along the way as well as a few more tough teams... so it aint gonna be easy! I'm not much of a football fan.... I prefer rugby, and yes I was right to predict England winning the rugby world cup!! I tell ya i got a nice wad of cash for betting on that happening  And no i aint doing it for Englands football team... you must be joking!!! we will be knocked out either in the quarter finals or the semi's on penalties.... it's England's curse and it's gonna happen again... i know it

I'm 21 but don't feel it. I act and look older, but inside i'm still a big kid who loves playing computer games and watching cartoons.... i have a certainly large passion for Dragonball and the Z & GT series of DB too I'm going to be back as a member of staff at this site as well (again) But if you're asking how old you have to be to become a moderator and/or member of staff, it doesn't really matter... so long as you can spell and type out reasonable grammar, then you should be ok...

NFS: Underground was a very strong racer.... ok you don't like it... get over it  There is without alot of doubt alot of improvement that can be made... but NFSU 2 will be rather like midnight club 2 where you go round the city looking for races!! But no matter what anyone says, it's still my favourite race... they just need to make it a tad more difficult i think.... it proved a bit too easy for me even on hard.
