According to PC Gamer UK Amer Ajami (Exec producer of RA3) Has coined a new phrase. He said this during an RA3 tour at EA's Guildford Studio in the UK, where much of the UK press had come to get a "Hands on" approach to Red Alert 3. Simply all you do is make 2 fists, and punch them together... In the words of Mr Ajami "That's what's called 'Base ****ing'" Base ****ing is actually a term to describe 2 opponents who attack each other's unguarded bases simultaneously in a single attack until the victor is made. It's a hard and fast "accidental" game whereby the opponents attack at the exact same time with a number of forces... they end up going past and missing each other in no-man's land. From there the race is on to raze your opponent's base to the ground before he does. To get "Base ****ed" you have to be the loser. Anyone heard of this term in Multiplayer, or around the community? Or is Amer Ajami the 1st to use such a phrase?

I was waiting for that. It's simple. Outside of the usual crap that goes on anywhere in the world is a essence which defines New Zealand. The country and its landscape is actually some of the most beautiful on the planet. It's original culture is still strongly rooted within all other cultures that have settled there. It produces to finest lamb in the world which tastes, smells and cooks better than any other meat you can find. On top of that the country is not arrogant on the world stage, it knows its place, enjoys itself and doesn't take itself too seriously unlike the USA or the UK. The people are more down to earth, open and honest than the British, the Americans, and the whole of Europe combined. It's a country, a culture than represents itself with pride without shoving it in our faces like America would. All in all, as far as the British Commonwealth goes. Us British would choose New Zealand as the primary commonwealth country to live in than any other still part of the commonwealth. Austrailia is believed to be, but it's a common misconception in my eyes. Austrailia was quite a barren and dangerous and a majority inhospitable place to live. That's why throughout Austrailia's early history, the United Kingdom deported criminals there.

How do you think the wall street crash of 1929 happened then? It was because those who ran the Federal Reserve crashed the stockmarkets. The major Shareholders in these markets are also a major contributor... it was on the news today that here in the UK that traders would sell their shares knowing they would continue to plummet, then buy them back again at a cheaper price for profit, making the situation worse. That's how the economic crisis works. You exploit the situation to gain money from weaker traders. The Banks and financial institutions do the same to line their pockets. Once enough money has been made and capitalism has screwed us over enough, the exploitation stops, things improve. The cycle will happen again once we're all in a healthy, stable financial standing, and have forgotten it ever happened another 25-30 years down the line.

To be honest who cares. The Geneva convention in my eyes is a joke. How can it be humane to kill someone in war, but hurt them and letting them live to extract information? All money has a percentage of debt tied to it. Governments, companies, other banks.. it all comes from places like the Bank of England or the Federal Reserve. The fact is that such high institutions run this planet and call the shots when it comes to an economic crisis. They too can be the ones to stabilise it overnight. It's the same with 1907, 1929 and many other huge economic downturns. If you tighten the money and take it out of the loop, you can crash the markets, as the ruling bank can gain extreme profits from everyone elses misfortune. Release and print more money into the open, encourage spending and economic growth, and the situation gets relieved. At the cost of higher debt. There used to be thousands of different banking companies in the early 1900's... a good 6 or so recessions later there are only a small handful in each country with more and more banks going Bankrupt or being taken over in every country in the last few months. This will not stop until the economy is under 1 bank and economic world order is achieved. HBOS Lloyds TSB is now the UK's biggest superbank... Scotland's Financial institution has been killed off and the Scottish pound destroyed today... it will keep going and going until each country has their heavyweight. The victor will be the strongest man behind the curtain. And you wonder why I hate capitalism.... it will one day kill us all.

Marriage to Mina = Instant profit!!! You see, once this Star Wars stuff has gained enough value you can divorce her on whatever grounds you see fit and take half of what she has! Just don't have (or admit to her) anything of value on your own person, cos she'll get half of that too... Allow me to mirror what Mina has said, and elaborate a little further. As someone who's had a severe bout of depression and has self harmed to the point where smashing my head against a brick wall or setting myself alight seemed like a good idea at the time. The best thing you can do is just be there for them... don't be suggestive or forceful in any way to them. My mind was like a ticking time bomb... one moment I would feel OK, the next I would feel anger and hate inside.... when you are like that, all you want to do is explode at someone (possibly hurting them in the process) and then hurt yourself to make you feel better. Cutting ones self is common because as someone who is severely depressed, you feel like your hate can only be let out when you bleed. It's like popping a painful blister, it lets out the pressure. It's a very tricky subject. This person is not themselves. You can't say "we can help you" or anything like that because this person will not want help, and it will only make them worse. Only they believe that they can help themselves, yet they will do nothing, as they see it as the best course of action. But as someone who has been depressed, you do want to feel loved, you do want to be helped, but you fail to admit to it. The only thing you can do for them is to be someone who is willing to listen, get them to talk and let their problems flow... be a listener and let any conversation be about them. Don't make mention that a shrink or a doctor would be an answer... trust me, that's like just asking them to die and let it be over with. Talking helps. Be private about it on a 1 to 1 basis, and slowly gain their trust. It's not something that can be done overnight. It took me 5 years to come to terms with my depression, and a further 4 to combat it's effects. I still suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) which can and will make me somewhat depressed in the winter months. Even that is not easy, but the more I gain self control each year, the easier it becomes. Having them learn that self control is the key, is the hardest thing for them to manage. But you need to make sure they get out and have as much natural light as possible, sunlight or any natural light helps improve the mood of a person regardless of the mental illness. Be it a park, a beach or whatever to play some sport or even just talk on neutral ground.... the less they sit down at home wallowing in their own low self esteem the better they will feel for it. Get to find out what they do enjoy or what they want to do. Doctors, shrinks and pills are not the answer. Being someone who they can trust is. It's knowing how to please them and make them feel better about themselves. Sooner or later they will come around and gain some of that self control. That's when they'll ask for help and support.

nah, I was more thinking along the lines of the Empire discovering and catching Yuri long before the war started where they ended up torturing his psychic mind. He ends up dying, and they stick him in a robot or something with abilities in tact... something which could bring a link to Red Alert 2, even though in this game the 1st and 2nd Red Alert Wars never really existed.

Are we going to be seeing epic units in the campaign or something... this thing to me looks like a Samurai King Oni... probably an experimental weapon of some sort. But saying that, we haven't caught wind of who the Empire's Prince Tatsu is...Nah, not a chance.... But whatever it is, it can't be that big surely, unless the robot we see here is the real foundation for the empire's psychic ability. Cos in theory Yuri would still be a part of the timeline no matter how much it changes. He would still be born and still possess his abilities in many 5th dimensions.... he could be a part of this game in some unknown circumstance for all we know.

It always was a good one in the original red alert... A long line of sneaky ore silos leading from your base to your opponents, only to slam down a Tesla Coil on the cliff above, causing sheer carnage and distress to your opponent. I suppose they want to strengthen the need and use of expansion units. Oh well, it's been a fun tactic for the last 13 years.
