Does the computer that can't run it have fully updated DX 9.0c? I remember trying to run a mod for PES 2010 (my nation's league patch), but it couldn't work properly because of some missing DX files.

Copying registry files counts as an advanced computer handling skill, since they are not visible like physical files. To see them, you must run regedit.exe in Start menu -> Run... I can't help you much with the procedure itself, try to Google it.

As for the full version, I'm currently busy with the awesome single-player. I'll check this the next time I run it.

You could've at least copied the registry files. Without them, your game is useless, since you ripped it improperly. So, pretty much all you have to do is find your lost CDs.

The server in LAN works mentally healthy on APB, so I can play alone in LAN as much as I want, same like in any other game that has LAN support. So... this means I'm stuck with playing on Gamespy? Dammit, I can't find a working game EVEN ON TORRENT SITES! This is the only remaining C&C game other than C&C 4 that I haven't played ever before, and I really want to try it.
