I just noticed that under "site info" the "history" section of CNCNZ's main page hasn't been updated in a while. To keep it short: it's stuck on 2009. A lot has happened since then and I think it would be a good idea to mark that section up for an overdue update. Just a friendly suggestion.

OK, so I got it working with no problems so far. I just ran the UDK installer in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Worked like a charm! So far, the opening invasion part felt cool until Gunner started twitching along with some other GDI dudes while firing on their own LCAC... Also, the ALT + Tab return to desktop option makes all of the ground textures disappear/become "transparent". Returning to the game after ALT Tab-ing launches a whole new game, so I had 2 games running at the same time which bugged the **** out of them. I saw something that looked like a modeling program's grid over at the main menu once after that. So yeah, bugs... The game's still pretty epic though.

ATi Radeon HD 4800 Series, Windows 7... hmm, I'll try my other PC and see what happens.

The UDK installer error'd up on me somewhere around it being half way installed/unpacked. It said everything failed except a few files. I don't get it... this was my 3rd try. Downloaded it via torrent.

Hah! G.I. Brick is quite the reseller. I did a review not so long ago: http://www.brickarms...php?f=38&t=5191 Nice to see everything from Zee's armoury in one picture for a change! That's a lot of Brickarms you have there... Those M41A's really DO look like they're from the Tiberium universe. Renegade's version matches 'em quite well. Same reason why I ordered some during the winter holidays. Oh, and Plokite_Wolf, if you're hinting at the end of the clip you provided... that's not an SMG. It's an AK-47. Maybe she aquired it from the Reds?

Command & Conquer Fan Made Movie Teaser
AZ-Stalker replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
"You couldn't have said it more generically." (not going to say where that's from ) But yeah, definetly an amazing sight. But the physics are too simple if you ask me... I mean, that bridge just crashed for no reason and all of its random parts fell apart at the same time. -
It could have been topped off with a response from the engineer in a "Oh you have problems? I've been waiting for about a decade to get this pistol." sense. Making it a three-way joke. Nevertheless, it made me chuckle and thats what I came here for!
-
I agree.
-
Just trying to keep things interesting... instead of the usual "great work, loved the episode" lines. Still, AKs for the Reds and M4s for the (greens? lol) Allies is a very logical solution.
-
I love the technical aspects of this episode (camera positions and set mechanics)! Also, that APC looks very nice. I like how it crashed near the end of the episode... only, one of the bad guys says something like "grab the RPG", while the weapon is actually a bazooka. I know you (Zee) have a Brickarms RPG lying around, so how come you didn't use it? Either you weren't paying attention or it just turned out that way. Does an RPG even fit into the Red Alert 2 timeline? There, some constructive criticism for ya!

Wow, you've really put some effort in making those structures. Keep 'em comin'!

The Dawn of the Tiberium Age 1.11 Released
AZ-Stalker replied to Plok's topic in Command & Conquer News
The huge number of identical scorch marks/holes in the ground (from weapons fire) kind of kills it for me. -
So... when you combine all pictures with audio files and what not... how much space does the actual video take on Zee's PC? Also, then in what video format are they stored? (.avi ?)
-
Question: Whats the size (resolution) of the pictures you use in your videos?
-
You could include more random civilians in future episodes. Maybe to annoy some Allied troops...

A Moment of Silence - Generals Zero Hour
AZ-Stalker replied to Sonic's topic in Command & Conquer News
Loved it. Even though many C&C fans don't like Generals, the game always had a special place in my heart - especially it's multiplayer and music. -
An Allies fan, perhaps?

Command & Conquer Legos: Season 4 - Episode 1
AZ-Stalker replied to a topic in Command & Conquer News
Wow, this episode really made me laugh at some parts. I was very surprised by it and have already watched it about 3 times. Oh, and the USA: 1 bit cracked me up! Plokite's voice was so well integrated into the video (game?) I didn't even notice it at first. So, I'm guessing he has a pretty good microphone. If you look back on Season 1, the improvements and additions to newer episodes (including this one) are simply mind-blowing. -

Resistance movement, anyone? -
Red Alert 2 could be the winner in my opinion, but I'm still counting on TS to make it to the finals (even if it is kind of futile since most newcomers don't play older games).
