^ This could be considered quite offensive. Omar, I would start with Tiberian Dawn or Red Alert as they are free and supported by cncnet.

Nyergud's TD doesn't use the registry either AFIAK. If you want to be really adventurous you can patch your own binary with the source at https://github.com/cnc-patch/ra303p (just run build.cmd). It's up to you to ensure your mix archives are correct, however, and well i doubt Iran or anybody else wants to "support" players who got the patch this way, if many were to do this.

hifi and Nyerguds and I were talking, and we renamed some things. new URLs: https://github.com/cnc-patch/nasm-patcher https://github.com/cnc-patch/ra303p see https://github.com/hifi/cncspawn/issues/1#issuecomment-17767840 for what hifi wants to do

New pre-cncnet5 Red Alert 1 Online Lobby

Well if that is all that is holding you back, it's not hard to make one I would love to add you and your launcher to the 3.03p organization. -
New pre-cncnet5 Red Alert 1 Online Lobby

Is this open source? -
Ah pity. I think I'll try un zipping and rezipping a small mix from portable RA next. If that crashes too I'll send you the mix with the crash dump
-
Well I tried my new-updated mixes with my newly-updated cncmixer (was infinitely recurring on . and .. lol on linux ....and it crashed. Obviously there is too much different here for this really to be a good test, but here is my crash dump. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jo65ndshr09tn9t On a related note, the linux binary for cncmix is up to date, but the windows one isn't.

Hifi, iran, and I now are using a shared repository with the full history of ra3.03p at https://github.com/ra303p/ra303p. Iran has already been working crazy fast, but this should make things even faster!

When will there be gaming cards to support 48-bit color?
Sonarpulse replied to PurpleGaga27's topic in Tech Discussion & Support
Because of machine word sizes, I'd say 64-bit might eventually happen, but it would be very pointless. -
With success?

Well I wouldn't be too surprised if one of them kept a backup, but doing so would probably have broken a contract so don't suspect any new from them. If EA hadn't lost the code I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to pull a Red Alert HD a la Microsoft.

Need to recompile for windows, but my tool is fixed now. I generate arbitrary mixes and test serializing and the deserializing them so provided I am understanding the format my tool should work. Edit: Linux Binary up, same link

My apologies about github then. Kamikave is right, absolutely no rush, but if there is anything we can do to help just say.

You have absolutely nothing to lose by trying TT's patch. Everybody ought to upgrade. -

Sonarpulse replied to CholoMachine's topic in The First Decade Patch 1.04
The patch fixes issues with the game, period. Most of the emphasis is on MP but the changes aren't just limited to MP. SP will also be improved. -
Jonwil explicitly told me they didn’t get source about 6 months ago, but I have seen this rumor before.

No, get the TT patch regardless, and online may actually work for you. -

Yeah we need to put TT's patch in the first decade patch. -
wait did you mean to say
-
so you are thinking something like new.number and old.number? All I have tried is my mixes + my mix tool which didn't work (I hope because of unmerged 3.03 changes). I am almost done revising my tool to use Maps instead of lists, and then I will test again.
-
not possible, or you just don't like?
-
Speaking of saving, can we have number.sav instead of savegame.number?
-
AFIAK Nyerguds is planning on moving to hifi's framework and github so merging the code should be trivial.
-
Oh wow! I had no idea. Yeah just got to #cncnet and get lucky.

Well the week is over along with my free time for a bit. if anybody can test whether My cncmix will make mixes the game will run https://github.com/Ericson2314/Codec.Archive.CnCMix the game will run mixes made from my github data repo https://github.com/Ericson2314/CnC-Red-Alert/tree/data-master This will greatly allow me to finish stuff up when I get back.
