Red Alert 1 Resolution

Hi!

 

Just started playing RA1 again... really cool to play in a lan and every pc can handle the game because it is so old :lol:

Just had 1 question... Is there a possibility to get the screen resolution higher? When I start playing (on my vista pc) the screen resolution automatically changes...

In orignal RA? No.

 

Im actualy working on a high resolution patch for TD (Addition to that of Nyers with more options, might not be public though) and RA, be sure ill make Sonic post news about it once i do it, but for now, you gotta wait as im bloody busy >.<

Hi, first post here. Glad to see someone is working on the resolution for Red Alert, been trying to put it in a window for a while using DxWnd but with no success. Seeing the game in 1024x768 will be great so take your time

Hey, im actualy looking into a windowed version of RA, only problem i can see is colour maps, but it might be possible.

 

Resolution wise i plan for the game to support the defualt resolutions plus, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1600x1400.

800x600? why? I thought that was the original.

640x400/480 is the original, and 800x600 because some people dont like 1024x768, but want something in between.

Hey, TSHyper - really excited to hear about a hi-res patch! I know it's been done for C&C95 so it's only a matter of time before RA95 gets the same treatment.

 

Any news on how it's coming on?
