Gben 20 Posted September 12, 2008 (edited) Well I just found a place that was selling the orange box at half price - so I've finally got to play PORTAL. I really enjoyed the demo, and have been greedily looking at the box all year! Apart from being too short (19 levels); and most of the puzzles being fairly straightforward; this game has been the best conceived and implemented I have played for, well as long as I can remember. Well actually the last level was particularly straight forward, where I was expecting more of a mind-bending twist. EDIT: I thought the spoiler will be identified here: the black box hides text which can be revealed when you highlight with your mouse. If you hate spoilers don't read. The HL Connection and knowing there was a song at the end... kinda ruined the intense Ecstasy that I would have experienced if I discovered myself . Anyway the atmosphere was top notch.
