RA2 Yuri's Revenge installation Problem

the setup says that i need to install red alert 2 while it's installed

where should i put the game so the setup can see that i have RA2 and start patching

and i'm using a mod on RA2 does that interrupt the setup??

Don't patch with a mod installed. That's usually bad practice.

 

Not to mention, the patcher should auto-detect your \RA2\ location.

 

Sounds to me like you downloaded your copy of the game.

not downloaded i bought it but all i have now is a copy

By copy, you mean something else illegal like a burned copy from a friend or something. If you do not have a legal copy of TFD or the original discs, we cannot help you.
