Sonic 296 Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) A brand new special forum has been added to the News category here on the CNCNZ.com Forums. So what's so special about it? Well its special in the way it update itself. As explained below. Official C&C Forums Announcements The latest major C&C announcements and community news from from EA's Official Command & Conquer Forums. Updates to this forum are taken directly from the Announcements forum which you can normally see at the Official C&C Forums. When something is posted there our forums will import the new post and display here, allowing you to stay up to date and directly reply. If you have any questions or comments about this new forum feel free to ask. Oh, one more thing. You can't start your own new topics in this new forum, but you can reply to existing and new topics though. Edited February 11, 2009 by Sonic Removed Twitter forum details. Sonic 296 Posted February 11, 2009 The Twitter one is considered experimental right now. It was easy to set up so it means it's easy to take away. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted February 11, 2009 nifty! Sure, nifty, but those twitters are cluttering up my View New Posts window... Maybe if it were possible to separate new twitters from new posts... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted February 11, 2009 http://ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php Could you set it up like they have there? So instead of it being posted in hte forum, just as a small feature on the main site or something? Its just a bit to fiddly for me to go read them all. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted February 11, 2009 I've deleted the Twitter forum, the more I thought about the more I didn't like it. Its actually easier to follow APOC on Twitter using http://twitter.com/EA_APOC or using the RSS feed at http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/15582857.rss yourself. I can implement the Twitter feed in other ways but probably not until I'm ready to do some redesigning on the main site. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted February 12, 2009 Yeah I didn't like the forum, but as Luk3us suggested, it would be okay if the current 'message of the day' was shown. Share this post Link to post
