PT adn IP prob

I've got a prob with the Renegade editor, i can't find the pt(purchase terminals) how can i add/ set them???

and the second prob is the LAN IP prob, if i want to start a lan game it says no ip found but if i set a ip manualy(in windows) i can't connect to the internet(ok i can connect, but it doesn't load any sites) and i won't restart my comp every time i switch between manual ip and auto ip... i hope you understand anything and could help me.

Well I don't think there are any Renegade mapping people here, so we'll try and help you with your LAN problem.

 

Before we can help you we need some more info, what OS are you running on your computers?

win98(oem version, i think) and i don't want to play on LAN I only want to test my selfmade-maps and that works imo only on lan...or with mp-training.

 

ps: where can i find some mapping people???

And are you sure you have selected the right network card in Renegade?

Perhaps you've selected your firewire port or something like that instead of the network card.

how or where can i select a network card??? I didn't find anything in the mp-options(all mp-options are like they are after the install), and i don't have the firewire(wall?) option slected

To play in Multiplay LAN mode you need to have a LAN card (an ethernet card) in your computer.

I had this prob as well, my mate started running a LAN game between 2 XP comps, and any time he clicked Multiplay LAN, it told him that there was no network connected. Went into options, it said "IPX not found". You have that prob beliar?
