Smoked_Peasant 0 Posted March 31, 2009 I've been trying to get ahold of the old theme files from C&C gold, I've tried accessing them off my own disc, but thus far have been thwarted at every turn. I can't use the little setup it comes with, since that insists I have !plus for windows 95, and I've tried to access the files themselves to no avail; they don't seem to think their an archive... If someone knows how to get at those files, or where they can he had elsewhere, that'd be terrific. Share this post Link to post
BioBen 3 Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) Try XCC Mixer It works like WINRAR or WINZIP, for the .MIX files found in C&C and RA1 etc. Could be in there. Edited April 1, 2009 by BioBen Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 100 Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) No BioBen, the files are on the CD as loose files, but with all filenames replaced by numbers. And the installer that should copy them to their correct names requires Themes Plus to be installed. I recently remade the entire thing... renamed the files using the files list in the setup program, and made a neat installer for it all. The resulting pack can be downloaded here: http://nyerguds.arsaneus-design.com/cncstuff/CCThemePack.exe Note that the screen saver needs the XVid video codec to work. Smoked_Peasant 0 Posted April 2, 2009 Huzzah! Thanks Nyerguds, you've made my day! Finally, I can have the old Temple of Nod for my backround again. Now, if only I could find a higher res Nod logo... Share this post Link to post

That's uploaded in several galleries already though. http://www.cnc-source.com/forums/index.php...si&img=4470 I even uploaded the large version of the icon render (from the TFD extras), too. http://www.cnc-source.com/forums/index.php...si&img=4952 Share this post Link to post
