Commanders Challenge Speed Corner - Robots & Ninjas

Recommended Posts

Another weeks means a new Commanders Challenge Speed Corner strategy article has been posted on the Official C&C Site by Red Alert 3 Developer Tourney champion, Michael Ombao (MikeO). This one gives you tips on how to beat the Robots & Ninja challenge. Here's part if it.

In Robots and Ninjas, the player is given a 1v3 scenario to play against Commander Shinzo, Kenji, and Moskvin. The player is constantly bombarded with Terror Drones and Shinobi during the course of the entire mission and will devastate your entire economy if given the chance. While Terror Drones are eating your Ore Collectors from within, Shinobi are hopping inside your Ore Refineries and taking away $1000 from your pool of resources each time they infiltrate it.

We will nullify the threat of both Robots and Ninjas by walling in our entire base. The player needs to make sure that the entire base is surrounded by walls without any spot left uncovered, or the AI will filter in their forces on that single spot. The AI will only attack walls with a few Stingrays which our 2 well-placed base defenses will cover. By covering our bases (literally) with this strategy and creating enough Twinblades to counter Bullfrogs, we can beat the entire mission near half the par time.

This mission is pretty simple. Just build a small base surround with walls and mass spam Twinblades only I guess thats the only method available (Soviets) to beat the par time. Haven't tried with allies or Empire yet though.
