For the first time ever, Wrestling Legend Hulk Hogan will tour Australia. His new event HULKAMANIA - Let the Battle Begin, will be playing arenas in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, November 2009. For over two decades the name Hulk Hogan has been synonymous with sports entertainment and professional wrestling. Having set live attendance records all over the world including a live gate of more than 96,000 fans at the Pontiac Silverdome, Hulk Hogan has set his sites on Australia as his next frontier. Well Hulk Hogan needs money these days due to his divorce and legal troubles. That's probably why he's doing this Aussie tour. Ric Flair has some legal troubles as well I think.

 

Anyway I'm basically past watching WWE these days, its same boring crap week in, week out. I haven't really been following any of it since Wrestlemania 25 back in April.

Wow that was so real.... NOT!

 

Completely set up to promote the event of course. Flair does the slap, Hogan goes down, people crowd around, and during the confusion Hogan does a quick blade job on his head. Something both Flair and Hogan have done thousands of times before in their careers.

 

Pro-wrestlers have some serious issues though, in the case of Flair and Hogan the can't let the business go at all, they have to keep coming back.
