FireStorm 0 Posted October 6, 2009 (edited) Starting any skirmish, I notice using a reveal map that they instantly have a small base already deployed (WTF?) from the start... ok cool i can live with that... (AI Level... thought that was the limiter to how high they can tech up, nope its their starter base) next thing i notice (trying to do 8player AI) they all instantly start to atk me?, i get up refinery/HON/radar/vehiclefactory up and all the sudden i got disruptors or juggers atking me and i lose within 5min... WTF?, yep as soon as they have missile silos i get nuked first (i literally got raped by 3 ION's and 3 multi missles in a 5min span after i survive their first onslaught... OMGWTFRAPE) anyone want to point me in the right direction so im not atked first thing? what do i edit? .... 7 game min in (fastest setting) and a mmk2 rapes me... XD112 0 Posted May 20, 2010 (edited) Well first what did you change on the TibEd Editor? Second, you can disable the enemies Superweapons by setting the AIBuildThis to false for the Ion Control Uplink, Missile Silo, Temple of Nod, and Seeker Control. That'll be the first step in keeping superweapons off your back. Third, it seems like your game speed is running at the 'Fastest' position. Of course if you still want fast build times and don't want to slow down the whole game and just keep the Hard AI at bay. Then go into AI Controls > Under AI Controls #1 - And change the AttackInterval setting to whatever is good for you. Right below that, you will find AttackDelay, this is the setting that sets how long it will be before the first attack add to that to drag out the delay. Under AI Controls #2 - Change the Paranoid setting to false, this way you won't have all the enemies ganging up on you all at once, in fact they will not ally with anyone, and a free for all will ensue.
