New Maps for Red Alert 3 Added

Recommended Posts

Its been awhile since some new maps for Red Alert 3 were added to this site. We have three brand new maps in this update, one of them is a remake of the classic Hammer & Sickle from Red Alert 2.

Watering Hole (Created By: Clone11b)

WateringHole.jpg

Watering Hole is a four player desert map with an oasis and small town located in the middle. Each player starts off with the usual two ore nodes, and has two nearby expansions, one on water and one on land. Between each player location are several choke points, with observation posts hidden between cliffs. On the middle ridge of the map are another four expansion points and four oil derricks. There are also two ore nodes in the centre of the map for all players to fight over. Aswell as the four oil derricks on the ridge there are another four located on the small outer islands, aswell as an observation post. There are also several ambient sounds on the map. This map is compatible with Red Alert 3: Uprising.

Hammer & Sickle (Created By: Bambi32)

HammerSickle.jpg

This is a remake of the classic Red Alert 2 map, Hammer & Sickle. The layout has been slightly changed to balance each start position. The upper bridges arent destroyable to deny a huge advantage for the starting position on the island. 1 more entrance has been added to the 2 starting positions in the south and to the upper center plateau. Some hills at the beachside of the starting position on the island and in the north of the center plateau have been added to provide more protection. The center offers a vehicle repairing station and a observation outpost, giving you the view of all attack routes on land.

Dam (Created By: masterpetrik)

Dam.jpg

This is a two player map designed mostly for naval battles, with a large dam connecting the starting bases for mini land skirmishes. The dam splits the map into two naval battles. The only way to cross the dam with naval units is to use naval artillery such as the Aircraft Carrier or Dreadnought. Amphibious units cannot pass from one side of the dam to the other, due to the height of this epic map feature!
