playing any C&C games using WINXP

I have heard tales that one cannot use C&C with winxp if you can could you clarify what games and how?

The older C&C games will work with Windows XP. We have 2 guides on our site that will tell you how to get them running.

Recent C&C games such as Generals and Zero Hour work of course, Renegade, Red Alert 2 install and play with out any problems.

For Tiberian Sun I had to use the Windows XP compatiblity settings to make it run.

 

The only C&C that probably won't work (as far as I know, never tried it) is the original DOS version of C&C.

The DOS version? Wowwwww. That's really old. I have RA2 and TS which work fine on my WinXP.

I still have my old C&C DOS cds :lol:

Yeh i got em too, i have the first edition of all C&C games

I have the old DOS C&C and TS+ Firestorm on my xp and they both work fine.

 

Does anyone know if Renegade works for Windows XP?
