C&C 4 Nod Centurion Concept Art

Recommended Posts

C&C Russia have posted a scanned image from the Ukrainian gaming magazine, GamePlay. The image is concept art of the Nod Centurion in Command & Conquer 4. Its probably an early concept of the Centurion, because it looks a bit different these days. Anyway check it out below.

I like the centurion. I have nothing against the Nod infantry designs. It's pretty much the entire vehicle design I hate

What?! Seriously, are their brains full of increativity and stupidity?! That boxy flame tank is one of the crappiest units I ever encountered ever since the RA3 Apoc tank then followed up by the former 1st model of the Nod Engineer & Avatar.

Anyway, the Centurion looks good. :) Hopefully they use that concept art version for the final game without changing the model.

It looks to me that centurion was originally designed as mech (cyborg?) with flamethrower (flamethrower mech/cyborg). Even the latest ingame version of the centurion has what suppose to be fuel tanks.

PS

It would be much better if they used that flamethrower centurion instead latest incarnation of the C&C4 flame tank.

Maybe the artist got the idea after going to some wild party and seeing some dude with two beer cans on his head (thirst aid beer helmet?) or sorts, and that's probably how the artist got the inspiration from.

the Centurion is probably gonna be a Nod unit i will probably use the most in C&C4. The shield function could make for some awesome tactical situations.
