Gben 20 Posted January 11, 2010 I just saw this mouse while browsing in a computer store today. Neato. The 19 Key USB Numeric Keypad and Optical Mouse offers desktop and notebook users an instant benefit of a full-sized, external numeric keypad in a compact form. You will not worry to install drivers as it uses USB Plug-and-Play technology. It functions as a numeric keypad and as an optical mouse it features a wide flip top transparent cover for the keypad and additional scroll wheel for easy web navigation. It is innovative and portable, definitely designed for mobile professionals. Finally a practical add-on for the smaller laptops! Reminded me of Luk3us' old purty mouse thread. Guest Stevie_K Posted January 11, 2010 I wonder how it would perform in games like CS and Quake Quite nifty for school or buisness purposes though. Can the numpads be costumized for RPG purposes and such? Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 11, 2010 I guess you need to be an accountant or other bean-counter to appreciate the beauty of keypad in your mouse... Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 11, 2010 The first one could be useful, the second one is stupid with the plastic cover. Its a good idea though. Share this post Link to post
Mighty BOB! 4 Posted January 11, 2010 Interesting although the shape seems wonky. Share this post Link to post
Sonic 293 Posted January 12, 2010 I wonder how it would perform in games like CS and Quake Quite nifty for school or buisness purposes though. Can the numpads be costumized for RPG purposes and such? I doubt this intended for gamers. Share this post Link to post
Gben 20 Posted January 12, 2010 Yeah the cover is dumb, it just needs an activation key on the mouse, with no cover. It's a good concept, perhaps in a couple of years they will have streamlined the design. (Gaming pad... heh... they could just replace it with predictive text functions like your old mobile phone, and make the keyboard obsolute! Hahaha!) Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 12, 2010 Predictive text is so horrible though. Share this post Link to post
Luk3us 63 Posted January 13, 2010 lol, no doubt that thing is expensive too, even if it is so very ugly. Share this post Link to post
Guest Stevie_K Posted January 13, 2010 I doubt this intended for gamers. I'd be ideal for MMO games if the buttons where programmable. Share this post Link to post
Malevolence 6 Posted January 14, 2010 Actually such mice may bring advantage in C&C TW/KW/RA3 competitive tournaments. You can assign those keys as the sidebar bottons, or something like that. Share this post Link to post
