Bruce Willis offers $1 million to the first soldier

Action tough guy Bruce Willis has offered $1 million to the first soldier who captures former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. While entertaining troops with his musical group The Accelerator, Willis made the offer to a captive audience of tried and true (and tired) service men and women.

Ah, but you see, there is one condition: The mucho macho actor said, "If you catch him, just give me four seconds with Saddam Hussein."

While he refused to say exactly what he wanted to do to Hussein, he did manage to defend George W. Bush's decision to go to war -- well, sort of. "Peculiar thing back home is that the liberal media was trying to portray it as a bad war," he said. "But being over here just a couple of days, seeing how well our troops and the allied troops are being received here, I think the Iraqi people are happy we're here."

The thing is, according to the World Entertainment News Network, well-off Willis traveled to Iraq by helicopter and didn't actually see many Iraqi citizens, many of whom still have no water, electricity or food.

Bruce should pay a million to anyone that listens to him sing...

So I take it that the SCUD missiles that were fired into Kuwait at the beginning of the war, which were prohibited for Iraqi use by the UN after the Gulf War, weren't considered Weapons of Mass Destruction?

Depends if a Biological or Nuclear Agent was in the warheads (which I don't believe there was).

Also, don't forget the scuds that were fired into Israel too (1st Gulf War)!

Might have been better had he offered to help rebuild Iraq. The American soldiers are trying to do a good job in difficult circumstances. It's a pity they do not learn from the British and other nations who are trying to win hearts and minds rather than strong arm tactics that are costing many lives. Vietnam should have taught them something. Good soldiers, crappy Generals and politicians.
