need help with upgrade.

okay, so, i've been playing tiberian sun online for a few years now. today i was bored, and i noticed a patch on download.com for it. it said something about new features and things. i don't know why, but i figured i'd give it a shot. now i can't play online. it says i need an update, but the auto update feature isn't working. i downloaded, i believe, version 2.03? something like that. anyway, it's not working. any help would be greatly appreciated, as i've recently become addicted to this game again. thanks much.

Well if you uninstall the Mod (if its possible) then you should be able to play online...

 

But if you can't you will have to reinstall TS...

yeah, i really don't think i can uninstall it. if it's even possible, i have no idea how to. is it possible to reinstall the game and keep all of my maps and saved games?

yes all you have to do is find them then move them somewhere else then uninstall the game..

 

When youve reinstalled the game put them back in the files you found them in..

you could just unistall it and click remove files added after installation and reinstall, see if that works.

actually, you don't need to answer that. i figured out where they were stored, moved them and reinstalled. it's working just fine now. even better than before, actually. thanks a bunch.
