Can generals replays be saved as .mpeg

Hi does anyone no if this is possible or how to do it as it would help to show previews of our mod the .Rebelion mod.

Replays can't be converted to mpg because the when you watch a replay you can scroll all around the battlefield and view various stats.

What you could do though, is watch a replay and then use some kind of video recording software to record you watching the replay (if you can follow that then you can do anything ).

Ok how about if i had a replay with my models in it and sent the replay to you would you see what i saw or would this not work i gess i could try it and find out thanks dipper

No I wouldn't see the new units unless you sent me the mod itself. This is because the replays use the actuall game engine and game files to generate the replays - it doesn't work like a film.

Yea thats what i thought as the files would be huge otherwise
