indyK1ng 0 Posted August 19, 2010 Sorry if this is a topic already covered on this forum, I only did a quick search and found nothing. I'm running the 1.06b No-CD game install on Windows 7 64-bit and have had a slight issue. The game runs fine, but the videos, menus, and to a much lesser extent, the gameplay, all have weird artifacts, usually purple or green, which are the same every time. I was wondering how to fix this since it's bugging me. I've tried running it with 256 color compatibility, XP mode, and a large number of other compatibility modes and I can't figure out how to fix this issue. I know there was something I did a year and a half ago that fixed it with the First Decade version, but I can't figure out what it is. Thanks for the help. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted August 20, 2010 There's a number of workarounds for that, and one actual fix which basically puts it in a kind of "directX compatibility mode". That actual fix can be found in the Common Problems thread on the EA TFD boards: http://forums.commandandconquer.com/jforum...s/list/345.page look for "scrambled colours". If the above link gives you a permissions error (it does that sometimes; it's random) take the mirror at EA UK here: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/command...-02-2010-a.html Share this post Link to post
