Luk3us 63 Posted September 14, 2010 To kick off the upcoming motion-control console warfare, Sony is taking a few cheap shots at Microsoft Kinect with a new website, yaybuttons.com. The site features a Move controller and prompts visitors to push its buttons, which reveal a barrage of sarcasm bombs and snark grenades from Sony’s fictional V.P. of everything, Kevin Butler: Some people think you don’t need buttons. WHAT?! Craziness. Could you imagine gaming without buttons? Where would the control come from? You couldn’t snipe. Couldn’t fire any sort of weapon at all, really. Unless you turn your fingers into a gun. Pew! Pew! What are we, mimes?!? Buttons can do anything! It appears Sony wants us to believe its Move controller, which is a colorful glowing ball on top of a big black stick that you have to squeeze and rub your fingers over to press its buttons, is more hardcore than Kinect. http://epicbattleaxe.com/sony-shoots-down-...yaybuttons-com/ Who said only fanbois could be immature morons? Sony can do it too! Share this post Link to post
Chronojam 3 Posted September 21, 2010 Hey Microsoft our Wii knockoff is even more literal to the point of the remote control design, heh, good luck being original over there Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted September 22, 2010 Microsoft can take their Kinect, Sony can take their Move thing and stick them both where the sun don't shine. I'm tired of being bombarded with all the rubbish about these gimmicky toys. Game pads and controllers are for games. End of story. On the flip side, at least the Kinect doesn't look like a sex toy Share this post Link to post
Mighty BOB! 5 Posted September 22, 2010 Real men use keyboards and mice. No wait, real men use Steel Battalion controllers. Now THOSE are hardcore. Move and Kinect have NOTHING on that controller. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted September 22, 2010 No wait, real men use Steel Battalion controllers. You misspelled fools there, as in a fool and his money are soon parted. Share this post Link to post
