Also, no, I'm pretty sure this particular issue wouldn't have been found without more testers, since I can't do LAN tests here at home -_-

The problem is, I usually don't have time to organize beta tester meetups for multiplayer testing sessions -_-

 

Though if I got some time and you're online, I would like to test the game's messaging system with you, so I can attach that beep sound to it :)

Bumping the sound engine in Pre Generals games is a easy task, though every aud sample in the game would have to be rewritten to the new sample rate and bit depth.

 

Using the XCC source, you can fix this and make it possible, never looked at it though.

Don't have any converter for stereo aud though. and don't feel like writing one.

Would not be hard, all XCC is doing is down samlping, you just have to skip this so the aud file retains this information, aud files have no logial limit, thats all in the engine.
