Gben 20 Posted December 27, 2010 Hah - I got a fun present for Christmas this year... an incomplete lego set! Someone found in a department store some lego bags from a lego set and bought them cheap. If you remember, lego now comes sorted in numbered bags. My set started at Bag #3 and went as high as #6. No one was entirely sure it was even the same set. So the first part of the Christmas gift was to research online from some of the more obvious pieces and find a likely candidate, then check the instructions to see if it matched. In the end the pieces did match the same set and I actually was able to build 4/5 of the main ship below... So no figures, no 4WD, no black alien ship, and no nose-cone ship. But the rest was intact, and I was able to build a comparable nose-cone ship from spare lego. A surprisingly good couple of hours spent on all this. Share this post Link to post
