For those who don't know these colours are the traditional CNCNZ.com colours, yeah in the past we've had different colours before, see the history page, but we've always come back to the blue. Speaking of which, I liked your '07 site design more. Everything could be accessed immediately, instead of going, for example, to Games -> 2001 | Yuri's Revenge -> Screenshots. When the ground work for the current navigation menu was designed I wanted to get away from the long left hand side menu. The 2007 design was becoming a problem, each time new content was added the menu would get longer. The overall appearance of the site became to busy. What you have described is still there actually. From the GAMES menu, click on 2001 | Yuri's Revenge, in the Yuri index all the content for that game is shown if the right hand side nav bar. Browse around each section of the site you will the right hand side nav bar changes each time. If I wanted to I could have created sub menu that shoot out so when you go to GAMES, then 2001 | Yuri's Revenge, another menu would pop up. This was tested at the time but it started to become to messy with menu all over the place popping out left, right and centre.
