Technical Issues & Site Downtime

For the better part of the past 6 or so hours most of parts of CNCNZ.com were unavailable due some unexpected issues on our server. The news on the main site, the forums, our gallery and polls were all out of action. Only in the last few minutes has it come back online. For those who understand the technical aspects of these sorts of things, everything to do with MySQL and databases was down, we couldn't connect the SQL server. From what I could gather, this was a server wide issue that affected CNCNZ.com, Freedom Studios, Revora and Project Perfect Mod. We apologise for any inconvenience this my have caused.

 

When ever we have problems such as this recent one, its always best to check our Facebook page or Twitter feed for any updates on the situation.

Not much I can do about it I'm afraid. I don't get all the details when things happen or problems arise. All I can do is bitch and maon to the likes of Doctor Destiny.

I had the same problem as you, I wonder if its related? My site was down for around 7-8 hours but is all back now.

Shouldn't be any data loss, but we are working on getting the server to a more stable environment. We might even be switching to a new one soon enough so just hold tight.
