Hey Nyerguds

 

I was wondering if anyway it could be possible to change the way C&C reads the Base list off of a map. As this would allow for Multiple AI to be able to build and rebuild their bases, and would open up a possiblity of AI actually building bases in skirmish maps.

Not without breaking all existing missions... which isn't really something I'd consider. Not to mention, I'd have to figure out the way the AI builds structures, and that's something I really don't know right now. I got some leads, but I haven't had time to look into them.

 

Besides, multiplayer has tons more problems, like the fact that any produced units automatically attack the most northern enemy instead of following their scripted orders.

 

I'm slowly working on fixing them, but it takes tons of research.

Well you could have it so if there are no custom lists, it would default back to the orignal base list, that way the orignal missions won't be broken.

Anyway thx for the quick reply

Yeah, I thought of that too... but it'll need quite some research, and I'm not sure I'll have time for it any time soon. Right now I'm knee-deep in multiplayer player joining checks, to allow setting a custom number of players in the maps.
