It's a new level I'm designing for Renegade (and RA:APB, when/if the tools for it come out) which I'm trying to develop into the most detailed Renegade level this game will ever see. I'm also planning to add gameplay mechanics that were not present in the original multiplayer, including new structures.

Here's a list of all the screenshots I have of it so far:

They're listed in chronological order, from the date I started working on it last month to a couple of weeks ago when I stopped. Not that I stopped in the sense that I'm not doing anything with it; I needed to add good looking interiors for the new structures. So I've light mapped them.

You can see all of the new exterior designs, the change list of the buildings, and the interiors. Plus, you can see the Nod Communications Center in-game with light mapping, as opposed to the ugly vertex lighting that I was using in my older levels.

Let me know what you think. I'd like to see CNCNZ get first dibs on this when it's released.

Wow Aircraftkiller, this is a blast from the past. Long time no see :) Are you back active in the community again?

And yeah we will host/promote map here. No problem there.

I'm not sure if I'm going to be "active" per say, but I do enjoy making worlds... I always have. This is something that I don't mind doing while I'm getting my career together. I'd probably still piddle around with Renegade just to have something to play with besides only using UDK. Thanks!

Finished up the circuit breakers. I've begun the painting process for the entire level, which means I'm getting close to needing testers for this. Here's some progress, in a breakdown:

  • Radio antenna added.
  • Civilian buildings painted with fully modeled interiors.
  • Electrical substation equipment painted.

I'm not sure if I want to keep the Ore Refinery, but I can't say it looks out of place at all. Now, since this is done, I have to look at whether or not I'll take the Ore Truck I modeled and painted back in 2005 and upgrade it so that it can be a static prop for this level. Also, before someone asks, I would remove the Allied logo I modeled out for it. It would just be a civilian structure. I'd plan on taking it into Mudbox to give it a more detailed paint job than just "bricks" with nothing else. Before I forget, I also want to animate the radio tower so it has a set of blinking dazzle lights for aircraft warning. I'd have an aggregate set up for it that would pull the lights in so that they would slowly pulsate and give the illusion of a set of aircraft warning lamps.

Here's progress images:
