You can not play mods on the internet. Unless the person you are playing as the same mod. Or something like that.

If you wanna play on the interenet you will have to get rid of the mod.

LONG LIVE THE SOVIET UNION!!!

Removed... Yes its a friggin conspiracy....

Delete any files called Rules.ini, sound.ini, art.ini and look for ecache*.mix. Those do not belong there (created by mods).

This is very unusual BUT I have seen something similar happen.

I was playing an online game and the person I was playing used the "Reconnection Error" cheat and disconnected.

I was then unable to play at all online.

I contacted EA Support and went through all the basics and everything was in order. So I was stilll out of luck.

I decided to contact EA again and got a different support person but didn't make any changes. Theonly difference was that it was the 2nd day of the next month.

I'm not sure what happened but my guess was that Westwood (EA) Online may have perceived me as being the initiator of a bunch of "wash" games and restricted my ability to play for the rest of the month.

Like I said, we were in the following month and everything was back to normal.

Probably not much help BUT this is definitely something that I have seen and somewhat understand.

Do you happen to have a router or a firewall?

Also, I saw some mention that the way CNC games connect utilizes something similar to one of the virus alerts that have recently come out.

If you look around at some of the other forums, I'm sure you'll find the post. The poster was even forward thinking and offered alternate suggestions to EA for setting up online games. It was a very good andinformative post and worth the effort for you to find it.
