Having some problems getting ra2 to load

ok well first off im new to this forum so hiya all!

 

second of all ive been playing ra2 for 2 years...and everything has been working fine except this morning. When i woke up i went to play a multiplayer game of red alert 2, but when i tried to load the game it didnt work. Not just that, but my comp froze up! I tried again like 12 times, same thing kept happening! can anyone help me?

Re-install RA2, there's a possibility that a file may be corrupt in the RA2 folder.... run scandisk and defrag your hard disk as well, and make sure you hard disk isn't too full.

 

If it just stops running like that I can't think of any reason that the above will not solve.

k thx...i just figured out last night tho that is was running with compatibility for windows 95 lol..once i fixed it ra2 began to work
