Combining SP and MP versions into one for Renegade-X would be too huge for stand-alone and it would be heading towards for a dual-layer DVD version. Luckily a split is okay but the MP version should be an expansion pack (not stand-alone) to the Black Dawn SP release so as to not download the repeated content all over again (for example, the graphics and textures).

We were thinking of including Black Dawn with the multiplayer release to make it more of a full SP&MP build of Renegade X. Presumably the file wouldn't be much bigger than Black Dawn (just a few MB of code and maybe a gig of maps) and that way people could uninstall Black Dawn and just have all of Renegade X on the full client version. Either way, it's a possibility we are still investigating, and it will depend on what people want.

Well if possible, it would make sense to combine the two and I think you should work towards it.
