Crysis 3’s Existence Leaked on Origin

Crysis 2 was great, bring on Crysis 3. This report says it got accidentally leaked... yeah right. Either way good to know a follow up is coming.

 

Crysis 3’s existence leaked on Origin

 

Crysis 3 has been revealed on publisher EA’s Origin website.

 

Listings for three different editions of the game appeared to have been erroneously uploaded and was removed shortly thereafter, but not before it was http://i.imgur.com/9vGp9.jpg by members of the public.

 

The three editions listed were PC and Xbox 360 physical Limited Editions, and a direct download PC Limited Edition.

 

Additionally, Cevat Yerli, the CEO of developer Crytek, has tweeted, “The best kept secret in shooters just can’t be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16.”

Crysis 2 was released in March last year to largely positive reviews.

Yeah its the CELL Corporation from Crysis 2. If you played and finished Crysis 2 it leads to number 3 rather well actually.

Maybe it's time to bring Crysis 3 on a Frostbite 2 engine.

Crytek is pretty proud of the engine that they developed. I would imagine that they would attempt improve upon the CryEngine, not move over to a competitors handiwork.
