More Project Camacho Concept Art

The French C&C fan site, CNC Saga, has posted some previously unseen concept art images from the long since cancelled Project Camacho. Under development at EALA, Project Camacho was a real-time strategy/first-person shooter hybrid set in the Command & Conquer Generals universe, and was cancelled in late 2008/early 2009. Check out the new art below.

I don't usually like such mashup scenarios, but for some reasons these concept arts have about the right feeling for me. It's a strange but fascinating blend between gritty but overused modern combat scenarios and refreshing but over-the-top comical scenarios.

Hmm, the flag of Texas... maybe Texas becomes an independent sovereign nation and will be the third faction in Generals 2...

 

That ought to do for some wild unsubstantiated speculation.

Fun fact: Texas has flown 6 different flags in the past 300 years, being in different positions of ownership and independence. It's not surprising that it would happen again, assuming all this actually was completed.
