What's going on with Abumm, you failing us already? What's going on with the maps and stuff, we need posts, and updates... so many promises you made, so why aren't you making it known?

I'm busy at work looking for server host, and me Level Edit is ****ed. But we are soon gonna have 3 up ! is a infy wars server, but i have to reconfig the presets for the maps so far i started on RA_River_Raid it's gonna be good come on guys u guys gotta dig this new server when it's done!

afrog2 and i are working on an infantry server modification to make a new type of server, you have to admit, AOW gets old after a while, and with the new twists we are planning to add into it, im sure it will be a cool new way to play.

 

I am also in the works of making a sound modification for the guns, explosions, Radio commands, Vehical Sounds, ect.

 

i may even get back into skinning to make a nice collection of skins for the vehicals and units. so all i can say is hold your horses, for some of the stuff i need to wait to have a more full version of renalert out.

but first u have to make a FOF banner. and kaptin is hosting Reborn so guys on cncnz can we get that forum name fixed? and just take out the Renalert part out?

and if there are other mods out there. just pm me and i'll get a server host for it.

1) Jason your banner is too large just make it smaller so the horizontal sidebar doesn't show up. It distorts the size of the forum and makes it notoriously annoying to read.

 

2) When applying for this space Afron2 you never said anything to me about hosting other sites or making abumm into other sites. You have not cleared this with me before going ahead. Remember Sonic owns this domain so what he says goes as far as the CNCNZ.com network goes. I have been put in charge of overseeing Abumm just like Sonic oversee's other sites with their webmasters.

 

If Fist Of Fate is run by a different webmaster and a different team of staff, and you are trying to find them space just like I found you space, then Myself nor Sonic will allow it.

It is a direct breech of our Hosting Terms and conditions and we will delete fist of Fate if we see it on the abumm server. That goes for any other site you try to direct to host.. Doing this could or will cause termination of the Abumm domain, so you have been warned!!

 

All sites that want hosting, need to fill out an application form and send it to Sonic for consideration. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

 

3) You say REBORN!!!??? Reborn as in C&C: Renegade Reborn!!??? I certainly hope not! I don;t want that pile of trash on our servers thank you.

 

4) Just remember if you want anything done to the forums then you ask Sonic directly through PM, not me, I may have power over the Abumm forums, but not full administration access!

lol we know that. Guys we need more traffic, now that i'm helping out at renalertaftermath.com i can probily draw some traffic. ummm. i messaged FOF and HTMLGOD in SWMOD and havent got an answer, HTMLGOD was a little queasy about doing this, but it's not his site lol ok so who here can make some banners? and a site desgine for theFOF Mod and the SW Mod and maybe one for Reborn.

lol, its too small for me on my screen, but then i made the banner in 1280x024, so its made to fit that size screen. ohh well, i guess we cant all run at that high of resolution :-P

True considering that few of us may have the latest graphics cards, or only run at an 800 x 600 resolution. I run at 1024 x 768 and that's fine for me.

 

But naturally if you are a whizz in photoshop or you do have a place in your heart for media editing and creation then 1280 x 1024 is the minimum you have it in...

 

That's the maximum my card can crank up to, but I dunno if my 17 inch monitor would be able to handle the resolution without damage or whatever, and frankly I'm not taking the chance :wink:

personally, i am a 1600x1200 kind of guy, but i would suggest making things for 1024x768 ,just beause that is the basic low nowadays (800x600 is slowly being phased out...).

 

on a side note, i am advertising for this and renegade in general in most of the communities i am in, and especiallyin my clan/guild of avid gamers. butm so far, there really isn't a whole lot on the site to advertise. considering the resent restart, and general lack of stuff, 400 isn't too bad a number right now.

hmm, if a nvidia geforce 2 mx 440 with 64 ram, is top of the line then im god, no wait, then im ACK.

 

and im on a 17 flat monitor too and thats the resolition im at.

 

15" monitors are best for 1024x768 17" at 1280 x 1024 and 19" at 1600x1200

 

so cncking, i think im in the same predicament as you with a bad vid card, its freakin 3 years old.
