[email protected] 0 Posted July 17, 2012 I used this patch for command and conquer gold, but for some reason, the mouse point refuses to go towards the center. It goes around the screen in a weird U shape. Imagine a U in a box (screen). The pointer will not cross the line and enter the U, only stay outside of it. I can't click anything at the main menu or put the mouse over the battlefield because of it. Has this been reported? Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted July 17, 2012 That seems like a really really weird issue. Try opening CCConfig and enabling the mouse sensitivity option. If that doesn't work, try to disable CnC-DDraw altogether. Share this post Link to post
[email protected] 0 Posted July 17, 2012 Disabling CnC-DDraw did it! Thanks. If it helps, I'm using a laptop with a 1080p screen that I had on 800x600 to run the first decade. Not sure if that was a contribution to the issue, but still thought I'd let you know. Share this post Link to post
Nyerguds 102 Posted July 17, 2012 Well, no, that information doesn't really have much impact. Your OS, graphics card and cnc-ddraw settings are what really make the difference. I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue, though. I know of an issue with cnc-ddraw where the mouse gets stuck in the center in some situations (which normally don't happen, mind you), but nothing that ever keeps it away from the center...
