PurpleGaga27 40 Posted September 25, 2012 Looks like Blizzard could be following EA's approach: http://kotaku.com/59...t-says-designer I am not buying that, but I prefer this question: How about World of Starcraft when the World of Warcraft series has already been a success? Blizzard does not need a F2P game yet since every one of their previous retail games have all been successful with a good amount of sales. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted September 25, 2012 World of Warcraft already has a free to play model, so I don't know what you're going on about... Share this post Link to post
Guest Stevie_K Posted September 25, 2012 I wouldn't call that free to play as in the whole game is free to play. It's only up to level 20, which is rougly 17% of the levels able to achieve. Oh and these 17% of the levels are the easiest. That leaves us with a very small percent of the actual package that you can "play for free". I'd say it's more like a free teaser/introduction to the game to get players hooked, rather than a free to play model that is integrated into the game itself. Share this post Link to post
Nmenth 291 Posted September 25, 2012 How useful, fun, or encompassing it might be is quite irrelevant, it is a free to play model. 1 Share this post Link to post
