The CnCSaga family today received not one, but two new members - CnCSaga.ru and CnCSaga.es, covering Russian and Spanish communities respectively, joining the existing French and German sites. Here's the official statement from Tchutch:

 

The CnCSaga adventure continues today to East and West with two new sites!

In 1996, the French website CnCSaga.com (French Bunker 2) was launched after the release of the first Command & Conquer. It has gained importance over the years and is now the oldest still active fansite on Command & Conquer and one of the biggest in the world. The site has now thousands of pages of content, videos, music, fan creations and participate in major community events.

In 2010, we responded to the call of fans and launched CnCSaga Germany. It was a complicated but exciting adventure. We learned a lot. A few weeks ago, when we were almost dead by the attacks against our server. We contacted Sergey to finalize the project CnCSaga Russia. We also proposed to Victor to join us for CnCSaga Spain. Sergey (CnCRussia) and Victor (CnCSpain) are both active members of the Command & Conquer community and we are very proud to welcome them. The two new websites are still a bit empty, but I'm sure that their energy will provide a great place for Russian and Spanish fans. Today CnCSaga is in French, German, Russian and Spanish! And tomorrow, we will be happy to help fansites in other languages to join our family.

We have one goal: to experience the passion of Command & Conquer.

there is no plan for an english version of CnCSaga at the moment, and i really don't think there will be one.

 

The new Saga websites are existing websites that have decided to join our platform. I think it would be difficult for me to start a project without a person already active. because open site requires energy and as I could not manage myself the site (time and language problem) then I must be sure of my choice.

 

To my knowledge there is no English site who wants to join us. And I'm not sure that this is necessary, there are already very good English sites : CnCNZ

If you asked me I would at least consider it, investigate the possibilities But the real question is it the right thing to do. CNCNZ.com has never been tied to any network and remains relativity independent.

The English CnCSaga could be administered by the admins of the other members of the CnCSaga family, with possibly some additions. The CnCSaga.eu domain comes to mind.

For my part, I'm only on the French-speaking CnCSaga, I don't want to go on the other websites, except to give some advices if someone ask me.
