My comics are getting through...

As some of you might know, last November, I've attended the 24-hour comic drawing contest in my hometown (visible here, translated to English here). The folks that attended decided to make a sort of a group of comic artists from Split. As of December 2012, we’ve had five monthly meetings where we chatted both randomly and about comics. Then, about a month and a half ago, an idea of a joint online-only comic magazine where we’d put comics attached to that issue’s subject was created.

 

Long story short, the first issue of the magazine, named “Stripodrom”, has been released half an hour ago, with the subject being “Star Quarrels”. The magazine is mostly in Croatian, save for my own comic that is in English. I’ve also been interviewed, and I might translate that interview later in the Patrol Comics forum section on Revora. You can read the magazine here. The interview is on pages 23 through 25, while the comic and sketches are on pages 26 to 33.

So let me get this straight: Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away, a Starfleet pirate captain is sent on a galactic Federation 'coffe run' to Dune where he meets Boba Fett and Darth Vader? Brilliant.

 

Who ever controls the spi... coffe, controls the galaxy.
