AZ-Stalker 88 Posted August 10, 2014 (edited) All of a sudden I can't view or save any .jpg images off the web. I can download and look at .png images just fine for example. Just updated Firefox and well... nothing. Win7 64bit Firefox 31.0 Right Click + View Image = 1x1 pixel download.jpg Right Click + Copy Image Location = 1x1 pixel download.jpg websiteadress/images/download.jpg (always an identical variant) Almost every image info I get is that it's 1x1 white pixel even before trying to open any kind of .jpg image. Any ideas? The images show as normal on every page, but I just can't access them specifically when needed (download, view, open...). Edited August 10, 2014 by AZ-Stalker Share this post Link to post
Sonic 296 Posted August 10, 2014 Have you tried another browser? Just to determine if its a browser specific issue. If its a Firefox specific problem, these links may help you. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-problems-images-not-show http://kb.mozillazine.org/Changing_media_handling_behaviour Share this post Link to post
Doctor Destiny 41 Posted August 11, 2014 Launch Firefox in Safe Mode. If it works, you have an addon that did it or the version of Firefox is having issues. Could do as Sonic suggested and check in another browser. If it is, Safe Mode it then try. Downgrade or swap over to Firefox ESR if you have to. Share this post Link to post
AZ-Stalker 88 Posted August 11, 2014 Looked through the provided links. Other internet browsers seem OK at the moment. Firefox reported no problems when updating with regards to unstable or incompatible addons. Oddly enough, it seems as though the problem had fixed itself for the time being, I've been able to view and save JPGs for a while now. I'll report back if the issue resurfaces in the next few days.
