PurpleGaga27 40 Posted October 10, 2014 (edited) I wanted to install it in a virtual hard drive rather than in a real hard drive. Well it worked in VMWare Workstation 10 (due to the right config settings), but not in the latest version of Oracle VirtualBox and this is what I am getting despite using the right settings and rebooting several times: I couldn't find a site that had similar issues with this.... and the setup ISO I downloaded was a 32-bit which did not get corrupted during the download. Doctor Destiny 41 Posted October 11, 2014 When you set it up, use Windows 8.1 32-bit or 64-bit depending on your ISO. Make sure it's not using EFI, enable PAE/NX in the processor tab, make sure VT-x/AMD-V and nested paging are checked on the Acceleration tab then check enable 2D and 3D acceleration. Should work fine after that. Share this post Link to post
PurpleGaga27 40 Posted October 13, 2014 That issue with the VT-x/AMD-V is going to wait until I get a new PC rig because none of my PC current rigs hold a CPU to use that virtualization feature. I did try not to use the EFI and enabled PAE/NX and even 2D/3D acceleration, and still it did not work. Share this post Link to post
