Amazon releases their new game engine: Lumberyard

You heard that right. Amazon has always been an online retailer (and does media streaming) but I have never heard of Amazon to be doing this. Pretty soon Amazon might be making their own PC and mobile games to compete with the others.

 

Also better, it's free to download and use. FYI their engine is based from the CryEngine.
