Get hammerhead to fly

I want to make the hammerhead liftoff from the airfield when built,

like an air tower's venom/general's comanche, instead of descending from high up in the air.


Can't find anything in its GameObject that seems to control this.

Any air unit has the PRODUCED_AT_HELIPAD kindof spawns at a certain bone in the model of the airtower. can't remember the bone name atm, it is something like helipad bone or helicopter bone...you can easily find it if you open w3x file of the airtower.

The hammerhead does that because the helipad bone is set to that high up position in the model. At least in KW. In TW the gdi helipad doesnt have that bone so any aircraft that uses the PRODUCED_AT_HELIPAD spawn in the center of the building.

 

Iirc you can't get the hammerhead to lift off from any other bone as long as it has the PRODUCED_AT_HELIPAD kindof. You could convert it to a parkingplace aircraft like the orca but i guess that isn't what you are looking for. As far as i know you need to change that bone in the airtower model. You could try to change the xyz coordinates directly in the w3x file.
