error playing directx

when i launch c&c zero hour a error pops op saying

 

Please make sure you have DirectX 8.1 or higher installed. also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements

 

i have directX 9.0c instaled and my video card is a :

Asus Geforce mx4000

i bougt the geforce yesterday.

so it cant be that i need help please

You might need to update the drivers for you video card to DirectX certified drivers. This can be done by downloading the latest version.

that video card sucks. a geforce fx 4200 would be more cost effective.
