Guns? Typical Americans.... Always tryin to kill each other.

How did this topic get so acidic? All Luk3us's fault for posting and starting it .

Classic example of Europeans v.s. Americans

By the way, there's always a part of a city/ town that is dangerous, and MOST thefts occur at gunpoint. I live in a quite and safe neighborhood, but there are places in NYC that will get you into a shootout just by annoying a person. Whats wrong with having a gun?

And fire IS used to fight fire sometimes. You burn out a strip of land around an area, and when it catches fire, it woun't spread beyond the burned-out land.

Better safe than sorry.....Wouldn't you agree with that Luk3us?

I don't have gun and my parents won't allow me to have 'em. But I have my KungFu with me, gentle fist style, hehehe..... Smile If someone pointed a gun at me, I will just kick him with my zuper kick.

SMILE???? Ohh....another fake quote, a stupid tactic

hehe... that's a good strategy, J-Fire :). At least you have something... just pray that the gunman is dumb enough to stand within arm's length...

You underestimate me too much, I've learned much about gentle fist style, ohh.....I'm a real man. Besides, in here guns are restriced, and the people aren't crazy enough to carry guns if they don't want to get jailed for months.

And, we are not supposed to talk about guns here. But what's your plan for new years eve.

Oh, and Luk3us, guy from NEW ZEALAND (got it now!), would you have your family undefended in the future against an armed burglar/thief/etc? They will always have a means obtaining weapons, whether it be legally or illegally, and to be completely at their mercy seems foolish to me.

Yeah there will always be people who can get em'. But it's such a tiny percentage no one even worries about it.... Hell even our cops don't carry guns on their person except for airport personnel after the whole 9/11 thing...

Armed burglaries over here are almost unheard of, they're mostly unarmed...

Just sounds like you guys are a bit paranoid that you need a gun to feel safe..

Anyway we could bitch about this till the cows come home... So why don't we just drop it and move on.... Or get back to the topic at hand...

J-Fire: That smile comes from an emoticon... "" translates to "Smile" when you copy and paste. I don't fake quotes... I don't need to . And I don't know what "gentle fist style" is (???), but a gun easily renders any fighting skill useless. It is, after all, the "great equalizer."

Luk3us: I am sure that that "tiny percentage" cares a whole hell of a lot about it. The utopian ideal of a "gunless" society is not only unrealistic but dangerous. The people should have the power of owning firearms (or they become powerless against an armed government or foreign adversary), and they should have the freedom to protect themselves as they see fit. And we are not paranoid about the need of a gun to "feel" safe.... with a gun you ARE more safe (provided you know how to use it safely...).

Gentle Fist Style is using bare hands to hit your enemy. I've invented my brand original style, 64 Hands of God :D this is inspired by something, lol. Anyone who get hit by this will surely become unconcious unless if I fight a real strong guy.

Besides it's true about what luk3us said, you guys are just being paranoid.
