game problem

hey yeah i was playing the C&C Gold on the nod missions and when i got to mission 9 after it plays the opening video and what not when the mission first starts everything freezes up except the mouse but you can't click anything and you can only exit when you hit esc but it just closes the whole game... i'm running it on xp but i got the xp fix on this site does anyone know what's wrong or why it does this i've tried 3 or 4 times and same thing every time

Sounds pretty iffy to me...

 

Maybe the CD is dirty or something and the game can't read the CD? I don't know... :?

Someone else posted the same problem. If you have moded any aspect of the game, your gona have to undo it and restart the campaign. Other than that, I dont know. You could try asking EA :roll: But it might be a while before they answer.

Has your XP been upgraded withservice pack 1 and/or 2 ?

It might. Ya never know. This is a Microsoft product here. XP. I'm not even sure what the upgrades are. Except for a faster pragram processor, I dont think I've noticed any changes.
