Alien VS Predator

I watched Alien VS Predator on DVD last night as it was finally released here in NZ this week, I would have to rate it as one of the best movies I've seen, it pays repect to both the Alien and Predator franchises yet stands on its own all at the same time. Excellect effects, the Aliens and Predators are best looking, when they fight its even better.

 

Anyone else here seen it and what do you think of it?

I watch it when it came out in the cinema way back in september. I was a bit sceptical about how the movie might disapoint like Alien: Resurection did but I realy did enjoy AVP as it kept to its comic style roots.

Is there any good extras on the dvd as the other Alien collector discs and the Predator dvd all have great documentaries and other extras.

Not to may special features on the AVP DVD, the usual "Making of" stuff, deleted scenes (only 4 of them), director/cast commentary and a stills gallery of the comic book covers.

 

From the main menu you can watch the original theater release of the movie or the DVD extended version.

i saw it in the cimena and loved it, i dunno if its out on dvd in wales yet.

well unfortunaltly its not out on dvd here in the uk yet but when it is i'll be watching it as soon as it becomes available on my dvd rental company
