Knights of the Old Republic 2 - Help

I know some of u people have KOTOR 2. I'm stuck in it. I need to open the hangar bay to get to the Ebon Hawk. I'm with T3M4 and Al-something. Kreia went to fight the Sith.. there was a cutscene in which T3M4 said he could slice the hangar teminal. I went to the terminal and tried opening the hangar door, and .... Failure. I tried it with all 3 character: T3, myself and the other guy. Have any of u gotten up to or past that part yet? I have KOTOR 1, but I uninstalled it .. i beat it a long time ago. For the HK droid u destroy as it tries to place u back in the Kolto tank, is it the same 1 as in KOTOR 1?? It was a different color. I believe the KOTOR 1 HK droid was HK 47 or something

uh sorry i have got past that bit but i forgot wot ur supposed 2 do is ur computer use or security skill high enough mayb u havent picked up a part u need or used a terminal that u might need 2 use

I have completed it but that was months ago but I think I remeber what to do. Have you found and talked to the HK unit? If not you it will tell you about a terminal that requires a technicians voice print which the HK unit can copy using its own voice output. It will then tell you that it can imitate the dead technician as it is imoral (which is good coming from an assanian droid!) so you will have to trick it by telling it to prove it can imitate the dead technician. Hopefuly youll have the voice recorder and then you go up back to the terminal replay the recording and the doors will open. If you have already done this for an other door in the game then forget everything I said and goto www.gamesfaq.com and youll find a walkthrough there.

actually did you pick up the missing part for the console you have to find a part for the console so you can open the hanger bay doors and get to the ebon hawk
