Tiberian Sun Network Problems

I cant seem to get Tiberian Sun to work as a network game.

 

The computers see each other in the lobby but when I press 'join' the game doean't proceed?

I am running Windows XP professional.

Both systems are the same.

 

Windows Xp professional.

 

Pentium 4 - 2.4 gb processor.

 

Inno3d Geoforce FX 5200

 

Realtek RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC (Network Adapter)

 

Running the ORIGINAL Tiberian Sun - no patches loaded.

 

As I have said my computer sees the other computer is hosting a game but when I highlight the game and click on Join nothing happens.

 

I am sure I have to probably enter some IP address or network destination number in?

 

Anyway if you can solve this will be so grateful because playing against my son again will revoke some fantastic old memories.

Try disabling the WinXP software firewall first. If it still doesn't work, post your Network setup and we'll see what we can do.
